Once again a change out of the title, but it will help for everyone in Italy to be able to recognize this in the book store and to know what to ask for, just in case they have not heard of Anne. :) :)

We will also be giving a link to a list of phone numbers for you to call the associated publisher in each country, in case you need to check where the book is selling. We mentioned this in a previous blog.

In a couple of days it will be Portugal’s turn.

Well it really is, as with everyone else, just a change of the title and language, the photographs inside are the same for everyone.

It also may be interesting for the Fans to compile a list of the editions; we have a few more to come.

Hopefully this will give everyone in the various countries what to ask your bookshop for, as they have to order the books for their stock.

Oh yes, news for Canada, we can confirm that the book, until the title of Beginnings, will definitely be available in Canada.

And just for something completely different.

Please be careful if you see some other companies trying to take advantage of posting, what is really a commercial post, on Anne Facebook page. Anne does not endorse anyone else, and they are just trying to use Anne’s page to their advantage.

It’s not right, and we will take them off as fast, and as best we can, but do not subscribe to anyone who tries to fool you this way.

Leading up to the launch of Anne’s new book Beginnings on 10.10.10, in the next couple of months, you will start to notice a few changes taking place on the Anne Geddes website - which we are sure you are going to love!

Part of these changes will include a new look 'Community' section where, among other things, we will be placing particular importance on YOU - Anne's long standing and loyal Fan base!

One of the features that we want to prepare is a 'wall' of Facebook Fan profile pictures, featured as small thumbnails.

Imagine a wall of small photos.

If you would like to personally feature on this 'wall' we would love to hear from you!

To let us know whether you would like to be involved, simply "Like" this comment (via Facebook) to permit us access to your Facebook profile pic and you could be included in our exciting new section; naturally it’s only your photo, no other personal details, and no links from your photo - we would like to do this on July 1st!

Let us know and we can get started, not a problem if you don’t want to be involved. :):)

This is what to look for in France.

For everyone, don’t forget to ask your local book shop when does the book come in? Just say the new Anne Geddes book! Book-sellers like to be confidant of a demand, naturally, and your comments will help them.

More different language covers as we go along, also the documentary is being offered to various television companies and we will let you know about that as well.

Next Germany!

Oh as well, we will be giving you a link to the people in each country who will be sending out the book, so you can call them for information.

We have now a few confirmed cover versions (as mentioned in previous blogs) of the various title translations for Anne’s new book Beginnings due on 10.10.10.

We thought we would start by showing you once again the English/USA cover, then over the next week or two, we will show the various translated versions we have completed, so you will all know what to look for in the shops and on-line.

Next month, as we have told you, Anne is off to print the book in time for it to be sent for the release date on 10.10.10

This week we should also be able to give you a list of our joint publishers around the world, so if for some reason your local book-shop misses out, you can ring the publisher to ask where you can buy it.

Next week in Los Angeles we will also be talking to television stations around the world, so we can place the documentary. We will let you know when we can, what stations and where it will be played.

Even if we say so ourselves, we think you will love the docementary, as it shows Anne in the studio and gives you an insight into why she does and how she does it.

Regarding the book, make sure you go early to purchase as supplies, while not limited, are still commensurate with any 1st printing.

Hallo from Anne’s studio

We have been in touch with the co-publishing group in Holland who will be distributing Anne’s new book Beginnings, and they have indicated that they are going to bring in the English text edition, so you will be able to look for the title Beginnings in the stores. There is not a great deal of text in this new book, but there are over 140 new images!!!

Let us know if you feel this is a problem?

What we are going to do, for as many countries as we can, is to supply the name and phone number for our co-publishers in the world, so if you do have any trouble finding out where the book is sold you can ring direct.

You may also be able to pre-order the book as well. This is sometimes helpful, as book stores are always appreciative of advance orders.

Anne is taking a break this week after finishing the new book and having it ready for the printing in June.

Next week Anne is back in the studio shooting for a new book for 2012, much more on this later as it is only in the early stages.

An exciting piece of news is that we have also finished a one hour documentary on the making of the Anne's new book. A film crew has been with Anne all of last year and this will allow you all to see just how a book comes together, and takes you behind the scenes. You can listen to Anne herself as she describes her creative drive and the ideas behind the photographs.

We will keep you up to date as to how you can see the documentary, as it will be on television stations in many countries.
