Every year we enter the annual web awards competition, just so we can have a measure of performance and see how we fare against other sites.

It’s not the Academy Awards or the Emmy’s, (not a red carpet in sight), but the 2009 WebAwards has named the best Websites in 96 industry categories.

Nominations came from interactive agencies and web site marketing departments in more than 47 countries from around the world.

I know you will be pleased to know, and it may not be a surprise, but Anne’s site was awarded:-

“The Anne Geddes website won the Best Photography Website in the WebAwards.”

We also fared very well in all areas and finished with a 56.5 score against an industry average of 48. The award average was 51.9.

We are pleased we did so well, but it is really you, the Fans, that we do it for, so that you can enjoy Anne and her work.
